ALTHEA BARR lives in Paihia, Northland. She has worked as a teacher, raised a family, run a Print design business with her late husband, and is now retired. She is a member of the NZ Society of Authors (Pen NZ Inc). Her novel was published in UK by Sunpenny Publishing, her poetry books have been self-published, and she has combined her poetry with her daughter Lucy’s photo art in two exhibitions in Williams House, Paihia. She was a leader of South Auckland Writers when she lived there but is now a member of the Kerikeri branch of NZ Christian Writers, and active in Paihia Christian Community church.
