Hot Tip – Networking with Newsletters

I recently received a tip via a newsletter about writers networking with others using newsletters. Instead of authors using only their own individual newsletter and contact list of supporters, some are learning to combine their efforts for greater publicity. When working together as a team they are reaching a greater number of potential readers. One example might be, ‘If you allow me to advertise my book in your newsletter, I can do the same for you in my newsletter.’ This way the writers have doubled their outreach, assuming their two lists of contacts are different. It’s worth considering teaming up with others but remember email addresses are private so don’t share an email address without the owner’s permission.
