About This Book

NZCW-HR

SNAKE OIL. Joseph Smith, a trader in fraud and fake cures, leaves his life as a second-hand car dealer to start his own church. He runs a slick operation, preaching health and prosperity. Can he have it all – gold, girls and glory, or will money laundering through the mob and dealing with blackmail bring him down? Will his marriage and life survive as the web of evil spreads? ‘Snake Oil’ not only demonstrates the heresy of the prosperity gospel but interwoven in the story is a contrast between Joseph Smith’s mega church and the small faithful gospel preaching church nearby. A unique story with an important message for those who might be deceived in a money hungry church but are unaware. $25 plus courier cost.
