MENTORING FOR MARRIAGE: A resource manual for Pastors, Counsellors and Couples distills the practical wisdom gleaned by John and Agnes Sturt from decades of premarital counselling. This makes it a must-have resource for every pastor or counsellor who works with engaged couples. Whether the individuals involved are marrying for the first time or the second, this insightful book will help to prepare them for the journey ahead. Each chapter concludes with a helpful summary along with discussion questions and homework assignments. The book could be read profitably by any engaged couple on their own, but ideally an experienced mentor should set up several sessions with them to work through each chapter. This up-to-date manual by two of New Zealand’s best-known counsellors teaches principles that apply to marriages the world over.
